Cabin Hill Dairy is a family owned dairy that has been in business for 24 years. After speaking with Lori regarding the farm’s previous protocol for their feeding system of newborn calves, she described that the ColoQuick Colostrum Management System that they own now is much handier then what they did before and much neater.
In 2012 Cabin Hill Dairy made a lot of changes in their calf raising systems and processes. Lori mentioned that they try and routinely track colostrum quality with their cows and that it can take some time, and some seasons it can be more difficult then others.
