The Dairy Farm is family owned and started by Garrett’s Grandfather in Holland. The present day farm in New York, was purchased in 1978 and is now run by Garrett and his dad. What prompted Garrett to look into Colostrum Management Systems was that they were having issues with Leucosis. They began shopping around and ended up comparing Golden Calf Companies’ Coloquick System with some other brands. So when I asked him why they decided to purchase the Coloquick Thaw System from GCC instead of another company, he said that our system was proven effective and had a faster thawing time.
Garrett also mentioned that they use GCC’s black nipples to feed their calves and he loves them. The calves favor the nipples and feed easily and he feels that they get more because of it.
